Adriana Da Silva Bellini is an associate lawyer in Gowling WLG's Calgary office. She focuses her practice on complex corporate commercial matters, including domestic and international acquisitions and divestitures, and large infrastructure projects. She primarily advises clients in the energy and natural resources sectors, including on nuclear and renewables, environmental and Indigenous matters.
Over the course of her career, Adriana has assisted clients across all streams of the energy lifecycle. This includes advising on a range of regulatory and transactional challenges throughout the various stages of a project: from initial exploration, production and generation through to transportation and marketing.

Adriana harnesses this sophisticated experience in advising government departments and Crown corporations, in addition to a wide range of energy and technology companies and Indigenous groups.
She is regarded for her ability to distill large amounts of information on complex issues into practical strategies that advance her clients' business objectives. The legal counsel she provides is underpinned by an acute understanding and awareness of the evolving global energy market and the opportunities and obstacles that exist therein.
After initially articling in Gowling WLG's Montréal office, Adriana relocated to Calgary to pursue an LLM in energy, natural resources and environmental law at the University of Calgary focusing her research on international investment disputes in renewable energy in Canada.
Adriana holds a degree in civil law from the University of Ottawa and a JD from Dalhousie University. During the course of her studies, she completed a semester abroad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she collaborated in the writing of a book on public financing and comparative law under the co-ordination of a Brazilian federal court judge.
