Julie Barrette

Julie Barrette is counsel in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office. Her practice focuses on health law and medical defence, including acting as counsel to the Canadian Medical Protective Association and its member physicians.

Julie offered courses within the Civil Law section of the University of Ottawa for several years.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Julie worked in the private and public sector in both Ontario and Québec.

Julie is fluent in English and French, and practises in both languages.
