Kevin Kolumbus

Kevin is an associate lawyer based in Gowling WLG's Hamilton office, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019. His practice primarily focuses on commercial, administrative, and construction disputes and remedies in various sectors such as commercial, development, and education. Kevin handles a wide range of commercial disputes, including construction, contract, import-export, repair and storage lien, shareholder, and property disputes, as well as negligence and professional liability claims. Additionally, he serves as tribunal counsel and advises institutions on administrative tribunal structure and procedure.
Kevin received his Juris Doctor from Queen's University, where he was a volunteer caseworker at Queen's University's Legal Aid Clinic and the program coordinator for the Queen's Chapter of Pro Bono Students Canada. Kevin was also a founding member of the Queen's Insurance Law Club. Prior to attending law school, Kevin completed an honours bachelor of business administration with a concentration in finance and risk management at Wilfrid Laurier University, and worked as a commercial underwriting trainee at Intact Insurance.
Kevin is a member of several professional organizations, including the Hamilton Law Association, the Hamilton Lawyers Club, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association.
