
Bio
Madison is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office. She completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa, while simultaneously working for the Senate of Canada.
A graduate of Carleton University, Madison interned at a local Ottawa criminal defence firm and competed in numerous moot competitions while completing her bachelor’s in Law and Sociology.
She continued to hone her oral and written advocacy skills by competing in the 2024 Harold G. Fox intellectual property moot, winning the Gordon F. Henderson award for best respondent factum. In 2025, she competed in the inaugural World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) moot court competition in Geneva, Switzerland, winning runner up for both best written submissions and best oralist.
In 2023, Madison had an additional experience with the UN, interning with the Universal Postal Union in Bern, Switzerland, to learn about the global postal sector’s commitment to environmental and gender equality efforts.
Madison is also a second degree black belt in Judo, and has been a volunteer Judo Instructor at her local recreation centre since 2016.
