
Bio
Mariah Meston is an articling student in the Business Law Group at Gowling WLG’s Toronto office. She completed a dual JD/HBA degree at Western University, graduating from both the Faculty of Law – where she pursued a concentration in Business Law – and the Ivey Business School with an Honours in Business Administration.
Mariah brings a strong foundation in finance, entrepreneurship, and capital markets to her legal work. Prior to articling, she summered with Gowling WLG’s Business Law Group and held several analyst roles at CIBC Capital Markets, gaining experience in corporate banking, trading credit, loan syndications, fund finance, correspondent banking, and global trade. Her work included credit underwriting, financial modeling, credit monitoring, portfolio management, and risk analysis.
With a combined background in law, finance, and business, Mariah is well-positioned to support clients across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
