Bio
Michael Melamed is a summer law student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office.
Michael is completing his JD at Dalhousie University. At Dalhousie, Michael founded the school’s Sports & Entertainment Law Society and is Vice President of the Jewish Law Students Association. In his spare time, Michael interns remotely for a sports and entertainment law group, identifying and introducing industry-leaders to the organization and coordinating its podcast.
Prior to beginning law school, Michael attended the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, where he was involved in several student-run organizations. He then worked full-time in sales and business development for a risk management software company out of Dallas and Toronto.
Michael will focus his summer within the firm's Business Law group.
