Tara Amiri-Khaledi

Tara Amiri-Khaledi is a partner in Gowling WLG's Vancouver office. She focuses her practice in the areas of corporate finance, securities, mergers and acquisitions with clients ranging in size from startups to large public companies operating in the mining, technology and life sciences sectors.

Tara's practice involves advising her clients on a range of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and public and private financings. She also provides ongoing legal advice to private and public companies regarding corporate governance matters, continuous disclosure obligations and various other Canadian corporate and securities law compliance matters.

Having previously worked as in-house legal counsel at a full-service financial services company, Tara understands the value of practical legal advice and strives to provide sensible advice that suits each client's legal and business needs. 

Tara has been recognized in The Best Lawyers™ in Canada and The Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory and in 2021 was named one of Lexpert®’s “Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40”. She is also a member of the board of directors of Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland and serves as the chair of the board.
