Wamika Razdan

Wamika Razdan is an associate in Gowling WLG's Waterloo Region office. She practices in the firm's Disputes Department on a variety of complex litigation matters.
Wamika's practice focuses on construction law and municipal law, with a particular emphasis on expropriation matters.
In her construction law practice, Wamika advises clients on diverse legal and commercial issues arising throughout the lifecycle of construction projects across Canada. She works closely with clients to develop practical, strategic solutions that advance their objectives and effectively resolve disputes.
In her municipal and expropriation practice, Wamika represents business owners, property owners, and tenants in matters involving the acquisition of land by public authorities, guiding clients through the expropriation process, and advocating for their interests at every stage.
Wamika has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Land Tribunal.
Throughout her academic and professional career, Wamika has demonstrated a strong commitment to community engagement and leadership. She has contributed to more than 15 community organizations, including conducting ethnographic research on missing and murdered Indigenous women in Canada, serving as a Caseworker with the Queen's Business Law Clinic, and acting as a Student Director at the Conflict Analytics Lab, an interdisciplinary research initiative focused on artificial intelligence and dispute resolution at Queen's University.
Wamika remains actively involved in her community through a variety of initiatives and regularly shares her insights as an invited guest speaker at institutions including the University of Toronto and the University of Waterloo.
