Xin Jiang

Xin Jiang is a tax lawyer based in the Toronto office of Gowling WLG. She specializes in both income tax and indirect tax matters.

Xin advises clients in various areas of Canadian and international taxation, including financings, corporate reorganizations, domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, executive compensation and clean technology. She also helps clients to resolve complex income tax and GST/HST disputes with tax authorities.

She has completed the Canadian Bar Association Tax Law for Lawyers Program, and Xin is currently in the process of completing the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program.

Her breadth of experience has equipped Xin to provide tailored solutions for her clients. Xin has prior professional experience in the technology, government and non-profit sectors. Before embarking on her legal career in Canada, Xin worked at a prominent national law firm in Beijing.
