Daniel Chomski is an associate in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. His practice focuses on business disputes and public law.
Dan acts for individuals and businesses in contract disputes, injunctions, and shareholder oppression claims. He has also appeared as counsel for a diverse range of clients before administrative tribunals, regulatory bodies, and in a public inquiry. Dan’s strategic approach to advocacy is shaped by a varied background, giving him the ability to navigate complex disputes across multiple areas of law. Before entering private practice, he served as a communications advisor to federal cabinet ministers, including the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, and as an officer in the Canadian Forces Naval Reserve.
Dan currently leads Gowling WLG’s role in Pro Bono Ontario’s CERB/CRB Overpayment Program, which represents individuals in judicial reviews before the Federal Court.
