Joanna Lynch is a registered Canadian patent agent based in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. Her practice includes drafting and prosecuting patent and industrial design applications, as well as providing strategic advice to clients.
With a background in biomedical mechanical engineering, Joanna has expertise in both mechanical engineering and biomedical sciences. She provides patent drafting and prosecution services for medical devices and equipment including implantable devices, diagnostic devices, imaging equipment, surgical devices, and drug delivery platforms.
Joanna also provides services and has drafted patent applications for clients in the automotive, robotics, manufacturing, materials engineering, electronics, software, nanotechnology, and telecommunications industries. Joanna specializes in areas involving convergent technologies.
