Rowan Brzezinski is an associate in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, practicing in the Intellectual Property Litigation Group. She assists clients in enforcing their copyright, patent, and trademark rights.
Rowan obtained her law degree at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Lincoln Alexander School of Law, where she held several executive roles in the Health Law Society and actively contributed to community outreach initiatives. During her legal studies, she gained practical experience through positions with in-house counsel at a national construction company, a boutique intellectual property firm, and a legal clinic supporting early-stage startups.
Prior to law school, Rowan earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Carleton University. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a lab manager and research assistant, gaining hands-on experience in laboratory operations, chemical handling and administration, and animal care. Outside of academics, Rowan served as the women’s head captain of the swim team and as a representative on the Competitive Clubs Council, where she supported and advocated for student-athletes.
