Aswad is a partner in Gowling WLG's Montréal office practicing in the Labour, Employment and Equalities Group.
Her practice covers all aspects of collective and individual labour relations, and includes providing advisory services and drafting documents in connection with the employment relationship (such as employment agreements, policies, services agreements and confidentiality). She also focuses on a variety of labour and employment litigation matters, including litigation related to dismissals and the application of non-competition and non-solicitation clauses.
Tina frequently advises businesses on personal data protection, privacy and French language requirements. She has also advised many employers on corporate restructurings involving mass layoffs. Additionally, Tina often acts as an external investigator in matters of psychological or sexual harassment, and regularly conducts work climate analysis.
She has appeared before all levels of civil and administrative courts in Québec. Tina has experience in disciplinary law and frequently represents professionals in investigations and complaints before the Disciplinary Council.
