Maria Carla Chirila

Maria Carla Chirila is a summer law student in Gowling WLG's Montréal office, where she will begin articling in 2024.

Maria Carla is currently completing a bachelor of laws and a master of business administration at the Université de Sherbrooke in the cooperative program.

During her studies, Maria Carla has been involved in various faculty committees. She was president of the board of directors of the general Law Students Association at the Université de Sherbrooke. An accomplished athlete and former member of the national judo team, Maria Carla was also president of the school's Sports and Recreation Law committee.

Before joining Gowling WLG, Maria Carla completed two internships at a Québec law firm, where she worked on various matters of interest to her, which contributed greatly to her learning experience.
