Stefan Krick

Stefan Krick is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office.

Stefan obtained his BCL/JD at McGill University Faculty of Law. While in law school, he developed a keen interest in corporate law, law and technology, privacy, and artificial intelligence regulation.

Prior to law school, Stefan completed a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from University College London, a Bachelor of Science in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Manchester, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Antiquities Trafficking and Art Crime from the University of Glasgow.

Having originally been planning a career in paintings conservation, Stefan is deeply passionate about art and the protection of cultural heritage. He served as an executive committee member of the Cercle des Jeunes Philanthropes at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal from 2019-2021.

Stefan has managed a private real estate investment company since 2009. He also has other professional and volunteer experiences in the arts, politics and finance.
