Orléans Health Hub project reaches financial close

On Aug. 6, 2019, Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and Hôpital Montfort reached financial close on the Orléans Health Hub project, with the hospital awarding a $59.7 million fixed-price contract to EllisDon Infrastructure Healthcare to build and finance the facility.
The Orléans Health Hub project involves the construction of a new 96,000 square foot facility in Orléans, a suburb of Ottawa, Ontario. Work will begin this summer and construction is expected to be complete in spring 2021.
Gowling WLG advised IO and Hôpital Montfort with respect to this project with a team that included Merie-Anne Beavis, Lindsay Wong, Leslie Blumer and Sebastien Pepin.
