Brendan Goodman

Brendan Goodman is an associate in the Financial Services and Corporate Groups in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa Office. He represents banks, borrowers and other financial institutions on a variety of lending transactions including acquisition financing, project finance, inventory finance, and cross border transactions.

In addition to financing transactions, Brendan represents buyers and sellers in M&A transactions across numerous industries. His strong M&A experience allows him to better advise on acquisition financing deals, where he is able to quickly identify potential issues in the acquisition for lending clients. Conversely, his strong acquisition financing experience allows him to better advise parties to leveraged M&A transactions.

Brendan obtained his JD from Queen’s University, where he was awarded the Queen’s Law Prize in Corporate Governance.
