Georgios' expertise encompasses the full spectrum of derivatives, structured products (specifically equity, FX and credit), as well as risk transfer / capital optimisation transactions utilising various collateral structures. His extensive experience and deep understanding of the landscape position him as a trusted advisor, adept at translating intricate market dynamics and regulatory complexities into clear, actionable strategies.
Georgios completed the Executive MBA (2018) at London Business School where he was acquainted with commercial and financial principles, including how to price derivatives and model credit scenarios. He believes that understanding the business drivers of his clients' transactions enables him to provide added value during the structuring and negotiating phases.
Georgios has also spent considerable time as senior legal counsel in-house, most recently at Goldman Sachs. This enables him to recognise clients' pain points and orient his approach to balance commerciality with technical expertise.
