Drawing on over 30 years' experience, Ashley is a TECSA approved adjudicator. As a result, he advises clients on how best to present their case to maximum effect from an adjudicator's perspective.

  • Advising NFUM on a dispute regarding various defects in office buildings including Nickel Sulphide, leaking pipes and defective cladding.
  • Advising London Legacy Development Corporation in relation to various claims on the Olympic Stadium.
  • Acting for a contractor in relation to the construction of the extension to the Nottingham Express tram system.
  • Advising various house builders including Persimmon, Bloor Homes, Keepmoat and Taylor Wimpey on various claims relating to alleged defects in housing estates either caused by designers or engineers' negligence or construction defects. The cases often involving technical construction issues and expert evidence.
  • Acting for an engineer defending claims of over £15m for professional negligence in relation to a sewage treatment works in Northern Ireland.
  • Acting for a developer, against an engineer for negligent advice over flooding risk advice to a housing development. The damages claimed in excess of £1m.
  • Advising a county council on the pursuit of claims in litigation of over £1m relating to a S278 Agreement.
  • Acting for Castlepoint on the rebuild settlement agreement for repairing a defective car park at Castlepoint Shopping Centre and related damages claims.
