Based in Montréal, Guillaume brings notable depth and technical sophistication to one of Canada’s most trusted intellectual property practices, with broad experience helping clients protect and defend their IP rights in areas where the law is still developing.

Named Canadian Practitioner of the Year (Copyright) by Managing IP in 2025 and recognized repeatedly by leading legal and IP directories, Guillaume operates at the intersection of IP, emerging technology, and digital enforcement. Working across patents, trademarks, and copyright, he frequently advises on evolving questions of law and has developed novel remedies including various types of site-blocking and seizure orders involving international and cloud-based assets.

Guillaume focuses his practice on innovation-driven and brand-sensitive sectors where IP is central to growth and market position, including media and entertainment, technology and video games, consumer products, retail, food and beverage, and industrial products. He brings a commercially astute approach to these areas, paired with significant experience managing large-scale, multi-party proceedings, and pursuing extraordinary court-ordered remedies.
