For the second consecutive year, Managing IP (MIP) has named Gowling WLG partners Alexandra Brodie and Shelagh Carnegie among the top female IP lawyers in the world in its annual global list of the "Top 250 Women in IP."

Alex Brodie, a UK-based partner and co-chair of the firm's global Tech group, and Shelagh Carnegie, a Toronto-based partner and co-head of the firm's global IP group, have consistently been recognized as MIP "IP Stars" in their respective jurisdictions.

Since 2013, MIP has published the "Top 250 Women in IP" list, which is the result of research conducted across 50 jurisdictions. The annual list recognises some of the senior female IP practitioners in private practice who have performed exceptionally for their clients and firms in the past year.
