Annie Turcotte is a partner in Gowling WLG's Montreal office, practising mainly in the areas of business law and commercial litigation. She has constantly prioritized client satisfaction throughout her career, which spans over 25 years. Annie acts both as a legal advisor and a business partner to her clients, and as such, is equally invested in finding strategic and practical solutions as well as cost-saving approaches.
Her practice focuses on business law, commercial and civil litigation, particularly on commercial leasing, franchise contracts, construction law, manufacturers' liability, consumer law, and contract litigation matters. She regularly represent clients before the provincial courts of Quebec.
Tireless energy and negotiating expertise are the hallmarks of Annie’s approach to client service. By anticipating potential issues and implementing effective litigation prevention strategies, she ensures proactive and collaborative solutions that meet high client expectations.
In addition to her practice, Annie currently serves on the Montréal office’s Management Committee and frequently acts as a mentor for articling students and partners. During three years, she was head of the GROW (Gowling WLG Realizing Opportunities for Women) initiative in Montréal, an internal and external network aimed at promoting an increased presence and recognition of women in the workplace and providing a deeper understanding of the issues they encounter.
