Bio
Kathryn is a member of the firm’s Strategic Growth and Enablement team in Canada, where she leads initiatives that strengthen client relationships, enhance cross-practice collaboration, and deliver more coordinated, strategic support to clients.
Before turning her focus to the business of law, Kathryn practised intellectual property law for 12 years in Canada and Moscow, including serving as Head of the firm’s Moscow Representative Office for three years. This experience gives her a deep understanding of the pressures clients face and how firms can align their strengths to support evolving client priorities.
Prior to rejoining Gowling WLG in 2019, Kathryn founded and led a business development and leadership consulting firm, advising lawyers and law firms internationally on client development and growth strategy. She is passionate about advancing a strategic, client-centric approach that builds stronger relationships, fosters collaboration, and delivers measurable value for clients.
