5
Our Corporate team has advised Hornby Hobbies Limited (Hornby) on the sale of its Scalextric business to Scalextric Motorsports, established by Mark Brown, Chairman of Purbeck Capital Partners.
The sale represents an important milestone in Scalextric’s growth journey and crystallises value for Hornby. The proceeds of the sale will be used by Hornby to pay down debt and invest in its other individual brands.
Our team advising was led by Partner Kristian Rogers with support from Of Counsel Mike Lacey, Principal Associate Chris Kay, Associate Yasmine Allwood and Principal Associate Zoe Pearman (Intellectual Property).
Gowling WLG's Corporate M&A team advises business owners, corporates, private equity and venture capital investors on a broad range of investments, acquisitions, reorganisations and exits.
