Céline Bey

Céline Bey is a recognised expert in intellectual property and technology, with more than 25 years of experience helping businesses protect and make strategic use of their innovations. In recent years, she has also been developing an acute expertise into the legal and regulatory challenges arising from emerging technologies including artificial intelligence.
Her practice covers all areas of IP, and in particular patent, trademark, copyright, but also data protection, domain names, and unfair competition. Céline advises clients across a wide range of industries, including luxury and retail, technology and the internet, manufacturing, as well as automotive.
Drawing on extensive experience before the French courts and the UPC, Céline is known for her pragmatic and precise approach to litigation and dispute resolution, notably in complex and cross-border matters. Alongside her IP and technology practice, she also handles commercial litigation, representing clients in contractual and business disputes.
Céline also advises on all aspects of non-contentious IP, with longstanding experience in the management and enforcement of IP rights.
She regularly assists clients with technology and AI-related transactions, helping them structure partnerships and manage legal risks in innovative projects, as well as with data protection, cybersecurity regulations and in drafting the associated documentation (GDPR, NIS2 Directive, EU AI Act)".

Céline holds degrees from the Sorbonne, the University of Paris XI, and Sciences Po Paris. She was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1998.
