Bio
Andrea Carboni Jiménez is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Montréal office.
Andrea received her bachelor of civil law and juris doctor from McGill University in 2024. Prior to law school, Andrea earned two additional degrees at McGill University: a master of science (psychiatry) in 2021, and an Honours bachelor of arts (psychology) in 2018.
During her academic career, Andrea gained a wide range of professional experience and participated in various extracurricular activities. Among other things, she worked as a law student in the mining sector and completed an internship in disability law. She has extensive research experience in health psychology. She also served as associate editor of the McGill Law Journal and as vice-president of communications for the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association – McGill Chapter.
In the summer of 2025, she completed a secondment in the legal department of one of Canada's largest financial institutions.
Andrea is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
