Bio

Beth is a Senior Associate within the UAE corporate team and works with a broad spectrum of clients providing commercial value alongside legal advice.

Her experience includes advising on venture capital and private equity investments, navigating the complexities of corporate restructurings and re-organisations and supporting private acquisitions and disposals. Beth is named as a key supporting presence for the Gowling Corporate Team in the Legal 500 publication.

Also recognised for her outstanding achievements and impact, Beth was shortlisted for the Rising Star Award at the 2025 LexisNexis Middle East Legal Awards. In 2025, she was also listed in "The Recognition List" that recognises legal professionals who have dedicated 25 or more hours of pro bono legal assistance in the previous year.

Experience

Advising abrdn Investcorp Infrastructure Partners (a GCC-based sustainability fund) and Investcorp on multiple investments in GCC-based infrastructure assets (ranging from US$40 million to US$400 million), including their investment in the US$2.5 billion Project Wave (the ADNOC procured Al Mirfa sustainable water PPP project).
Advising an Abu Dhabi Venture Fund onnumerous cross-border investments and related strategic UAE-based joint ventures in the technology/advanced manufacturing sector.
Advising a leading Abu Dhabi artificial intelligence entity and its group companies on various high-value, strategic tech-related joint ventures, both domestically and cross-border.
Advising e& on its investment, as lead investor, in e-sim service provider Airalo's US$60 million Series B funding round.
Advising the founder-owner on the sale of the Advanced Watertek Group (a water treatment technology group) to Gradiant, a Singaporean water technology solutions company.
Advising Capton Energy on various renewable energy-related projects, including C&I solar joint ventures and investments and an energy efficiency project.
Advising Ediphor Limited on its acquisition of certain assets of SensDx S.A. (a medical technology manufacturer) and on Ediphor Limited's equity raises.
Advising e& onits investment, as lead investor, in Arabic-language online learning platform Almentor's US$10 million pre-Series C funding round.
Advising Clio, the world's leading provider of legal technology, on its US$1 billion acquisition of global legal intelligence platform vLex.
