Bryce Kraeker

Bryce Kraeker is the leader of Gowling WLG’s Capital Markets and Public M&A Practice Group in Canada and past managing partner of the firm’s Waterloo Region office. With more than 25 years of experience, he delivers strategic, commercially grounded advice on complex corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance matters.
Issuers and underwriters routinely seek Bryce’s counsel when raising debt or equity through public and private financing transactions, including bought deals, prospectus offerings and private placements. He also advises Canadian and international clients on the establishment of limited partnership and other fund structures across diverse asset classes—including real estate, infrastructure, credit, private equity, venture capital, and other pooled funds—as well as dealer, adviser, and investment fund manager regulatory compliance.
Bryce manages all aspects of his clients' domestic and cross-border M&A activities. He is also often called upon to advise on corporate governance best practices and policies, directors' duties and liabilities, and public company disclosure obligations.
