
Bio
Cecily Zeppetella is a summer student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office.
Cecily is completing her JD at Western University. During law school, she has gained practical experience working with startups through the Western Law Intellectual Property Clinic, where she provided legal support on a range of business and intellectual property matters.
Prior to law school, Cecily completed a law clerk diploma at Niagara College, as well as an Honours bachelor of arts in media & communications with a minor in Italian studies at Brock University. She is also the co-founder of ZeppsGear.
Cecily’s achievements have been recognized through several awards, including the Spirit of Brock Award, the Law Clerk Peter Kormos Scholarship, and the Brock University Community Partner of the Year Award.
Cecily has demonstrated a strong commitment to community involvement. She volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and is the founder of Upcycle for Change, a volunteer organization she led from 2021 to 2024.
Cecily will focus her summer in the firm’s Business Law Department.
