Claire Litchfield

Claire Litchfield is a Senior Associate in our real estate group.

She has for many years specialised in site set-up for registered providers of social housing, not only in relation to their shared ownership schemes, but also on their open market plot sales and private extra care. She works closely with her colleagues across the team from acquisition and development of a scheme to plot sales, which enables her to identify and resolve key issues at an early stage of the site set-up, as well as any which arise as plots are sold.

Claire supports the team with legal due diligence on complex development schemes for registered provider clients, handles the restructuring of property-holdings intra-group and with investment funds and leads on development delivery documents such as infrastructure agreements.

Claire's clients include investors into the social/affordable housing market, using both corporate and asset structuring models to acquire residential property portfolios.

She also specialises in the disposal of superfluous residential properties acquired as part of site assembly for significant projects by public sector organisations.

Claire's clients include Sanctuary Group, Legal & General Affordable Homes, Hyde Group, National Highways and Places for London.
