Bio
Courtney Thomas is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Calgary office.
Prior to attending law school at the University of Alberta, Courtney completed her BSc in chemical engineering. Her undergraduate co-op program provided her with the opportunity to gain experience in the oil and gas industry, working for both Suncor and ATCO. She hopes to integrate her technical background into her legal practice in the areas of energy, construction and intellectual property law.
Throughout law school, Courtney volunteered with Student Legal Services, Edmonton Community Legal Centre and Youth Leaders in Law Edmonton.
In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer and field hockey, hiking, board games and reading.
