Julie d'Auteuil

Julie d'Auteuil is an associate in Gowling WLG's Montréal office, working in Indigenous law. Her practice focuses on matters relating to self-government, education, the administration of justice, public procurement and socio-economic development.
Before joining the Indigenous Law Group, Julie was part of the firm's Labour, Employment & Equalities Group, where she worked on a number of individual and collective labour relations matters for various Indigenous entities.
Julie holds a bachelor's degree in political science from McGill University (2013) and completed a master's degree in international studies at the Quebec Institute for Advanced International Studies (HEI) (2015) before obtaining her bachelor of laws at the University of Montréal (2018). She also studied international relations at Aberystwyth University in the UK. While pursuing her MA, Julie interned as a Canadian economic policy junior analyst at the Department of Global Affairs Canada, and also served as a military police officer in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Julie practises law in English and French.
