As a legal talent advisor at Gowling WLG, Kamela Perren supports the firm's student and articling student programs, overseeing initiatives related to recruitment, onboarding, professional development, engagement, and performance management. She works closely with lawyers and firm leadership to create a supportive environment where emerging legal talent can develop and succeed.
Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Kamela worked at the Law Society of Alberta, where she supported the public, legal professionals, and law students on a variety of regulatory and professional matters. She played a key role in guiding law students through the application process and collaborated with colleagues across the organization on cross-functional projects.
Passionate about talent development, Kamela works with students, articling students, associates, and firm leadership on initiatives that support career growth, engagement, and professional success.
