Kate Yurkovich

Kate Yurkovich is an associate in Gowling WLG's Toronto office, practising in the firm's Financial Services Group.

She advises secured lenders, debtors, creditors and court-appointed officers on a broad range of commercial matters, with an emphasis on complex financial restructurings and court-supervised insolvency proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act.

Kate currently sits on the Board of Directors of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) – Ontario Network and is the Co-Chair of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) NextGen Global Committee.
