Kenneth W. Hanbidge

Ken Hanbidge is a partner in Gowling WLG's Waterloo Region office and a member of the firm's Real Estate Group.

With over three decades of experience in the commercial real estate sector, Ken works closely with developers, builders and real estate investors to provide practical business advice on property purchases, sales and development. In addition, he assists institutional and private lenders with real estate and corporate commercial loans, as well as mortgage enforcement.

Ken also practises general corporate commercial law. He serves as a key adviser to small and medium-sized businesses on a wide range of legal matters, including incorporations, mergers and acquisitions, sales, and reorganizations. He takes the time to understand the unique needs and concerns of his clients, and develops efficient solutions to help their businesses grow and succeed.

Ken has strong ties to the Kitchener-Waterloo region as a business and community leader. He is a member of the City of Waterloo's audit committee and is a former president of the Rotary Club of Kitchener-Grand River. He is also a past member of the University of Waterloo's advisory committee and the City of Waterloo's economic development committee.
