Mariia Volkova

Mariia Volkova is an associate in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, practising in the Business Law group. Her practice focuses on general corporate and commercial matters, with an emphasis on corporate governance, private M&A, commercial agreements and incorporations.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Mariia practiced at a boutique business law firm providing corporate and commercial legal services to entrepreneurs and start-ups in a variety of sectors. Mariia is passionate about helping local start-ups and businesses grow by providing thorough and practical legal analysis and advice.

In addition to being an internationally trained and certified corporate lawyer, Mariia is also a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).
