Bio
Meaghan Rice is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, focusing her work with the Business Law Group.
Meaghan is completing her JD at the University of Ottawa in the English Common Law Program. During her studies, she worked as a student with the legal services unit at Global Affairs Canada. Meaghan was also actively involved in student life as a member of the International, Business, and Sports & Entertainment Law Societies, and completed as part of the University of Ottawa’s Davies Corporate Securities Moot team.
Prior to entering law school, Meaghan earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management, Marketing, and Business Administration from Columbia College in Missouri. She was also a student-athlete, competing as a heptathlete on the Track and Field team.
