Selina Mamo

Selina Mamo is the Director of Associate and Law Clerk Programs at Gowling WLG in Toronto. She is responsible for managing the Firm’s professional development and recruitment initiatives for its legal talent. Her role focuses on career coaching and mentoring, performance management, retention, professional learning and career advancement for the Firm’s associates and law clerks. Selina is also the Co-Chair of Toronto’s Momentum Committee whose mandate is to develop, implement and advance a part of the Firm’s diversity, inclusion, and equity strategy.
Selina is passionate about developing people and strives to support the Firm’s associates and clerks as they navigate their legal careers. She also regularly collaborates with the Firm’s management committee and other professionals to help the Firm reach its long-term strategic goals.
Before joining Gowling WLG, Selina practiced litigation at a leading international law firm in Toronto. She holds a J.D. from Windsor Law School and a B.A. (Political Science) from Wilfrid Laurier University.
In her spare time, Selina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking with her young children, and binging the newest “hit” television series.
