Bio
Shaheer Khattak is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Waterloo Region office.
Shaheer earned his JD from Osgoode Hall Law School. During his legal studies, he gained practical experience as a caseworker with the Community & Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP) and the Osgoode Venture Capital Clinic. At CLASP, he assisted clients with intake, interviews and information gathering in administrative law matters. At the Venture Capital Clinic, he provided legal services to early-stage entrepreneurial ventures, focusing on corporate finance and business agreements.
Prior to law, Shaheer was a civil and geotechnical engineer and worked in oil sands, coal and copper mines across Alberta and British Columbia.
Fluent in English, Pushto, Hindi and Urdu, Shaheer brings a global perspective to his practice.
Outside the office, he enjoys kayaking, snowboarding and backcountry camping.
