Bio
Shannon O'Brien is an experienced leader with expertise developing and managing complex national and international projects. She joined Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP in 1997 and currently serves as chief of staff, supporting the CEO in the development and execution of strategic plans, priorities and initiatives.
Prior to this role, Shannon served in positions of increasing responsibility within the firm, including as director of strategic projects; secretary to the executive committee and board; director of industry and practice groups; manager, professional services; and manager, human resources. Notably, she was responsible for the Canadian aspects of the combination between Gowlings and Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co.
