Stephanie Pearce

Stephanie Pearce is a partner in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office, practising in the Public Procurement Group, specifically in the areas of civil and administrative litigation, health law, government procurement, bid protests and judicial review.

Her practice includes representing clients in judicial review of government and tribunal decisions, statutory appeals of federal agency decisions and civil litigation in tort and breach of contract. She also has experience advising clients with respect to access to information requests and laws and policies relating to public procurements.

Stephanie has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada. Her work also involves proceedings before various administrative tribunals including the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, the Canada Transportation Agency and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. She has also appeared as counsel at coroner's inquests, before the discipline committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and before the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board.

Since 2005 Stephanie has volunteered with GuluWalk, an international initiative to highlight the plight of Acholi children in northern Uganda.
