• Retained by a large insurance company on an ongoing basis to represent various defendants in motor vehicle accident claims. These matters involved high volumes of questionings, mediations and judicial dispute resolutions.
• Successfully defended her client in an employment standards complaint and subsequent audit where irregularities were found. Her successful representation of the client ensured they avoided large regulatory fines.
• Successfully represented a shareholder of an entity at arbitration regarding the interpretation of an 18-year-old share purchase agreement in arbitration involving complex accounting matters with various expert witnesses.
• Successfully represented a cannabis company in an appeal by local residents against the client's development permit for a cannabis growth facility, appearing before the Subdivision and Development Appeals Board involving numerous experts and extensive evidence from local residents.
• Assisted in a number of seminal cases, during her articling term, in the area of membership rights of the Metis communities in Alberta representing the Metis settlements council in challenges by individual members and appeals of those decisions before the Court of Appeal of Alberta.
• Retained by one of America's premier agribusiness and food companies to represent them in a product liability claim in Canada.
• Retained by a large American-based multinational digital communications technology conglomerate to represent one of its brands in Canada in a claim regarding a software product and project brought by a large Canadian machinery manufacturer.
• Retained by a premier Canadian producer of various grain products to represent it in claims involving agricultural product supply.
• Successfully represented numerous engineers and other construction professionals in defence of claims brought against them in various provinces.
• A senior member of the litigation defence for large oil field and utility product liability matters.
