One of our global values is: we all bring something different. So, being an inclusive and diverse workplace is hugely important to us, and makes us more relevant and valuable to our clients. We want to enable, encourage and support everyone to be themselves and thrive – whatever their age, disability, gender, gender identity, faith and belief, race, sexual orientation or social background.
We have several employee networks, all helping our people to be the best they can be. Each has board sponsorship and support, and guidance from our strategic diversity and inclusion partners. All of our networks are open to everyone.
Diversity and inclusion FAQs Promoting gender equality through our Thrive network Our Thrive network is driving the practices we need to achieve gender equality. It provides internal and external events and convenes roundtables and discussion groups to feedback on issues affecting both genders that will help lead to improved gender balance. Thrive aims to contribute towards increasing the number of women in partnership and management roles. We have set a target of achieving 30% female partners by 2026. Supporting families with our Family Matters network The Family Matters network supports working parents and anyone with caring responsibilities. It helps them achieve quality of life at home and at work. Championing LGBT inclusion through our OpenHouse network Our LGBT network OpenHouse supports, educates and empowers employees, managers and allies on LGBT issues. It also engages and challenges our firm on workplaces issues that are important to our LGBT community. Raising awareness about disability, mental health and wellbeing through our Enable network Our Enable network supports anyone with a disability, mental ill health or wellbeing concerns. Their work links into our wider Wellbeing+ programme where we provide mental health and domestic violence champions who offer a listening and signposting service to our people. Working to promote diversity in ethnicity Our EmbRACE network were instrumental in us creating our Black Lives Matter Action Plan back in 2020. In addition they work to raise awareness of key issues impacting our people from an ethnic minority and influence action the firm takes to address these. Working to promote diversity in faith and beliefs Using our diversity and inclusion calendar we promote and highlight many religious festivals including Diwali, Ramadan, Eidh and Easter. There are prayer rooms available in each of our offices. Working to promote social mobility Through social mobility, we can fill our team with the best and brightest people from all walks of life. We run a programme supporting those from deprived backgrounds, offering work placements, mentoring and bursaries.
