Why apprenticeships?

EARN WHILE YOU LEARN

And gain practical skills

Are you about to leave school or college? Or have you already left? And you want to continue your studies? But not at university? Then an apprenticeship could be your answer.

As an apprentice in our firm, you can earn while you learn. In addition to being paid, you gain practical skills, work experience and a recognised legal qualification or business diploma.

Furthermore, during your apprenticeship, we help you make up your mind whether the legal sector and your chosen programme are the right springboard for your career.

What's special about us?

At Gowling WLG we have two different apprenticeship programmes: paralegal (see our Legal Programme) or business services (see our Business Services Programme).

What these programmes have in common is that they enable our apprentices to grow and develop. We put our trust in you, give you responsibility and value your contribution to the team. This means you absorb knowledge and hone skills by undertaking real work that's important to the success of our firm and our clients.

Meanwhile, you get all the support you need. For this we surround you with a framework of colleagues – people you can rely on for answers, help, tips and advice.

How our people flourish

We have an informal open-door approach, because we know it helps people flourish. We've also created some of the best working environments in the sector – modern and world-class facilities that add to our people's quality of life.

And that's how, so far, all our apprentices have succeeded and stayed with us to grow further into their chosen careers.
