General Data Protection Regulation published in OJEU - it's official!

The new General Data Protection Regulation was published in the European Union's Official Journal yesterday. It's now official! Data controllers and processors have two years and 19 days left (at time of publishing) to bring themselves into line with the new Regulation.

That's not to say that organisations should leave it until 2018 to prepare for the changes. There is plenty that can and should be done starting now. Our high level checklist on what to do now will help get you started.
