On August 21, 2015, Ackroyd Plaza in Richmond, British Columbia, a 107,000 square foot retail shopping centre situated on land designated for high-density, mixed-use residential development, was sold.

Gowlings advised the purchaser in this transaction with a team led by Jack Yong and including Julia Winters, Lorena Vlad and Stephen Hedley, assisted by students-at-law Jeff Bradshaw and Braden Lauer.
