Georgian Partners closes growth equity fund raising $200 million

On April 9, 2015, Georgian Partners completed the final closing for its second growth equity fund, Georgian Partners Growth Fund II (the “Fund”), with $200 million in committed capital. The Fund will invest in expansion-stage enterprise software, Internet and information companies.

Georgian Partners is a growth equity firm investing in companies that are exploiting applied analytics: the convergence of business process knowledge, big data and broad information rights.

Gowlings advised Georgian Partners in the creation of the Fund and its subsequent funding with a team that included Vanessa Grant and David Kim (corporate) and Ash Gupta (tax).
