Group of Investors led by Cyril Leeder, Bernie Ashe and James Maxwell acquire Deslaurier Custom Cabinets Inc.

On July 18, 2018 , the Ottawa Business Journal reported that Cyril Leeder, the cofounder and former president of the Ottawa Senators, and retired Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group CEO Bernie Ashe were among a group of investors that acquired Deslaurier Custom Cabinets Inc. through a newly formed acquisition company (AcquisitionCo). Other new owners include Investment Partners Group CEO James Maxwell, accountant Tyler Leeder and Mike Deslaurier, the son of company founder Jim Deslaurier and the company's current operations director.

Deslaurier Custom Cabinets Inc. has been serving Ottawa and surrounding areas for more than 35 years and specializes in custom cabinetry design, manufacturing, installation and service tailored to the individual needs of its customers.
