Osisko Metals and Sphinx Resources complete definitive joint venture agreement for zinc exploration in Québec

On Oct. 17, 2018, Osisko Metals Incorporated (TSXV: OM) and Sphinx Resources Ltd. (TSXV: SFX) finalized a definitive joint venture agreement between the companies with the objective to explore for zinc in highly prospective areas of the Grenville geological province in southern Québec.

Osisko Metals is a Canadian exploration and development company creating value in the base metal space with a focus on zinc mineral assets, including two premier historical zinc mining camps in the Northwest Territories and New Brunswick. Sphinx Resources is engaged in the generation and acquisition of exploration projects in Québec with a focus on zinc holdings and current R&D operations.

Gowling WLG advised Osisko Metals in the negotiation of this agreement with a team that included Brett Kagetsu, France Tenaille and Shaela Rae.
