On Sept. 24, 2018, XACT Downhole Telemetry Inc. ("XACT") was acquired by Baker Hughes.

XACT of Calgary, Alberta, provides an acoustic technology platform that delivers real-time downhole drilling and completion data with memory backup.

Houston, Texas-based Baker Hughes provides integrated oilfield products, services and digital solutions worldwide.
